It is the most beautiful beach of the reserve, with golden sand beaches and Caribbean Sea. In 2005 it was awared by Legambiente as the most beautiful beach in Italy. It 'a small bay of about 200 meters surrounded by two rocks that form a real natural swimming pool in which the sea is often calm and of an intense turquoise. No facilities there, sometimes a small bar is set up.
Despite it is not easy to reach, in summer it can get very crowded.
HOW TO GET THERECan be reached only by car/motorbike (20 minutes from Syracuse)
From the hostel go right, go past the train station, via Ermocrate and go over the big roundabout towards “Noto-Avola” and all the directions (Catania included). Continue past the cemetery with a first set of traffic lights, and past the second traffic light.
Keep on going straight ahead. When you see the blue sign to Catania (on the right) slow down a bit but continue past the exit Catania, and after 100 meters take the first left (following the green sign to Gela-Noto-Avola Rosolini: it is the same road to Catania but in the opposite direction). Once on the motorway
Siracusa-Noto-Avola-Rosolini, take the exit Noto. After the exit follow the signs to Pachino - Portopalo CP. At km. 6 of the road Noto-Pachino on the left side you will find a small unmade road that passes over an old railway. Take that road following the indications and you will get to a parking where you can leave the car and start walking for about 10-15 minutes to get to the beach, which is approximately 1 km. from there
